We offer a postdoctoral position for an expert in the preparation and utilization of activated carbons and carbonaceous porous materials.
Novel precursors, activation techniques, and applications for activated carbons on the fields of gas purification and storage, catalysis, and the synthesis of active membranes are of interest. The candidate would collaborate with other members of an active research group with an extensive expertise in biomass processing, hydrogen production, biofuels, and membrane synthesis, application and characterization. The candidate would also advise Master-Level students on research projects in the field of carbonaceous materials.
The post holder will join the Chemical Engineering Department at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona (Spain), for a period of 12 months.
