etc.
A formal requirement for admission as a doctoral student is a master's degree including a written thesis or an equivalent German degree, e.g. a German diploma. Essential for a successful participation in the program is a sound knowledge of modern mathematical techniques. The next application deadline is December 31, 2006, for the academic year starting October 1, 2007.
