Do you like to look up into the night sky?
Did you know that ancient astronomers could measure the distance to other stars?
How long would it take to get to the sun?
How do astronomers collect stardust?
Do you ever wonder how pirates sailed the seven seas?
Want to stretch your imagination?
Have you ever wacth the sky with a telescope?
THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN THOSE QUESTIONS!
Target Group:
18-30 Years old young people
We invite young people from all around Europe who are interested in astronomy. You do not need have experience in the field but we expect participants who have high motivation to learn about space.
We invite 3 participants from each country.
Cost:
70 % of the real travel costs and %100 of the accommodation will be covered by the “YOUTH IN ACTION” program of the European Commission. The re-imbursement will be done during the seminar.

Where to stay?
We will be staying on a hill near by a small village where the observatory of Canakkale 18 Mart University located.
You may choose to stay in a tend where you can watch the stars during the night or you may choose to stay in the accommodation of observatory house.
