CfA: Human Rights School, Prishtina, 10-18.6.2008

*Youth Initiative for Human Rights* office in Kosovo, is organizing a Human Rights School.

This Human Rights School is part of a large project organized in the Western Balkans: Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, which are initiated by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee.

This School, which lasts for 7 - 9 days intend to offer to youth the possibility to gain knowledge and understand the Human Rights concepts, the institutions and the mechanisms for human rights protections, the interethnic understanding and peaceful conflict resolution. It is also designed to act as a forum for dialogue among young people belonging to different ethnic groups where they can freely discuss, become friends and cooperate.

Through this School, YIHR gives the opportunity to youth, students, Human Rights activists, volunteers, NGO activists and others in Kosovo, to improve and empower their abilities and capacities.

Candidates should be between *16* and *19* years old.
