One post-doctoral research scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Anil Mahapatro at Norfolk State University (NSU) starting September 2008. Potential candidates would be required to work on surface modification of nanoparticles for drug delivery applications and other interdisciplinary research projects involving synthesis and surface modification of biomaterials and would be a part of the NIH funded Centre of Biotechnology and Biomedical Science. Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemistry, materials science, bioengineering or a related discipline with research in biomaterials is preferred. Hands on research experience in modification of nanoparticles for drug delivery is required. Excellent publication record and references.
