Postdoctoral Position in Neural Development - University of Texas Southwestern

Postdoctoral position available to study neural cell fate specification in the mammalian central nervous system. This NIH funded research project is to investigate the molecular mechanisms that control neuroglial differentiation and neural repair in the CNS (CELL, 109, 75-86; Nature Neurosci., 4, 973-974; PNAS, 98, 10851-10856; NEURON, 25, 317329). Recent Ph.D.'s with demonstrated records in molecular and developmental biology or neuroscience are preferred.

Excellent training environment and state-of-the-art equipment and core-facilities will be provided. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and is expected to work in a collaborative environment.
