Post-doc: Yale Stem Cell Center

A research position is open at the postdoctoral level in the area of stem cell biology. A wide variety of projects are available to study mechanisms of hematopoiesis, human embryonic stem cell hematopoietic differentiation, and the epigenetic regulation of human embryonic stem cells and their differentiated progenies. Applicants should have training and experience in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture techniques, with human ES cell culture experience the best.

Essential Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in molecular biology or a related field. Experience in standard tissue culture and molecular biology is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in collaboration are needed. Willingness to learn new techniques is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in stem cell biology, RNAi, ChIP, FACS analyses and working knowledge of bioinformatic approaches to data analysis are desirable.
