Conference: Creation, Evolution, Dissolution: New Research on Yugoslavia

Creation, Evolution, Dissolution: New Research on Yugoslavia, 1918-2008

One day conference

To mark the 90th anniversary of the creation of Yugoslavia, this conference brings together leading scholars in the field (for the first time at Goldsmiths). All papers are based on their latest research and offer fresh perspectives on the origins, evolution, and the violent disintegration of former Yugoslavia. The conference is convened by Dr Dejan Djokic (History, Goldsmiths) and Dr James Ker-Lindsay (Kingston University) and is supported by Departments of History and Politics, Goldsmiths, The Vane Ivanovi Library, Kingston, and Centre for South East European Studies, SSEES, UCL. The event is open to public; students and staff at Goldsmiths are especially welcome.
