An CIHR-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute, Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto in the field of developmental biology with particular interest in female infertility.
We focus on translational research relating ovarian biology with embryo development in order to identify molecular pathways responsible for early embryo demise. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects involving both genetically modified animal models as well as human samples.
Requirements: Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have a strong commitment to basic research. A PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or related fields are required. The individual must also have the ability to work independently and cooperatively with other investigators in the laboratory.
