10 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CZECH LANGUAGE COURSE
THE 19th INTERNATIONAL SUMMER LANGUAGE SCHOOL, PILSEN, CZECH REPUBLIC
The International Office of the University of West Bohemia is pleased to announce in the frame of 19th International Summer Language School which will be held from July 7 to July 25 2008, offer of 10 scholarships for students from Central and Eastern European Countries, who are interested in course Czech language for Foreigners. We offer the course at following levels: beginners/intermedi ate/advanced.
The scholarship includes:
* accommodation in double room (21 nights)
* full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
* 3 half day and 3 whole day excursions to the places of historical and cultural interest located in Pilsen Region or neighbouring regions
* participation in afternoon program (lectures, sports activities, film projections, cultural events)
The scholarship does not include:
* travel expenses
* insurance and visa expenses (if applicable)
Eligible applicants:
* nationality of a country from Central and Eastern European Countries (also from a lower developed country outside Europe)
* older than 18 years (no upper limit)
* scholarship is determined only for participation in the course Czech for Foreigners
* study of Czech studies, Czech language or Czech culture and other relative fields of study (currently studying or already passed in Czech Republic or abroad)

Deadline: 15th May 2008
You will receive confirmation of participation after May 20, 2008.
Documents that must be submitted before May 15, 2008:
* CV (structured)
* Letter of Interest/Motivation Letter (with statement of the incentives that led to the application)
* other relevant enclosures: certificate of Czech language, Recommendation Letters, etc.

Documents should be written in English language. In case of knowledge of Czech language we ask the applicants to send the documents in Czech language.
