*Summer International Commercial Law LL.M.
July and August every summer*

A part-time summer program designed for working legal professional who wish to:
- Gain specialized knowledge in international commercial law
- Represent clients more effectively in a global commercial environment
- Complete a master's degree after two to five summers of study

Online application deadline is *May 30* of each year.

The following "open enrollment" courses are taught by professors from the University of California School of Law, legal experts from major law firms, public officials, and corporate executives. These courses are open to anyone in the legal and business professions.

*Orientation in U.S.A. Law
July 11 - August 7, 2010*

This four-week program offers:
- More than 170 hours of classes, seminars and on-site observations about the fundamentals of the U.S. legal system
- Preparation for LL.M. studies in the areas of legal research and writing, oral presentations, participation in the Socratic method, LexisNexis and Westlaw computer training, briefing cases and how to succeed in law schools
- Others areas of specialization in business and trade, the U.S. criminal justice system and judicial management

*International Commercial Law Seminar in Cologne, Germany
July 14 - 25, 2010*
The University of California, Davis and the University of Cologne - in cooperation with the German Bar Association, the German Institute of Arbitration (DIS) and the Arbitration Documentation and Information Center (ADIC) - are proud to present the 13th annual International Commercial Law Seminar. The seminar will be held at the German Institute of Arbitration. The program covers key topics in international
commercial law.

*Specialized Courses in International Commercial Law*

These two-week courses are for knowledgeable practitioners who wish to gain familiarity with complex international and U.S. business and legal transactions, as well as an understanding of international trade, commerce, finance, and investments. Program topics are offered in three sequential years as follows:
- Global Trading System: Substance and Dispute Resolution, August 9 - 20, 2010
- Financing International Transactions: August 2011
- Structuring and International Joint Venture, August 2012
