CfA: Internship at the German Council on Foreign Relations

The German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) is pleased to announce the opening of an internship position at the Alfred von Oppenheim Centre for European Studies. The intern will both assist the TRAIN programme for think tanks from the Western Balkans and engage more widely in the work of the DGAP's research institute. The internship should ideally last two to three months and may begin on 15 September or later.

Tasks of the intern:
- Assist in the TRAIN programme for Western Balkans think tanks;
- Draw up policy briefs on Western Balkans- and EU-related topics;
- Possibility to draft an own short publication during the internship period.

Profile:
- Graduate student (Master's level or Hauptstudium) ;
- Very good command of the English language, ideally also knowledge of German and/or Bosnian/Croatian/ Serbian or Macedonian or Albanian;
- Willing to take initiative ;
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
