USA: Scholarships at Greek Mountain College

*GREEN MOUNTAIN COLLEGE WELCOMES INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS - AVERAGE AWARD: $16,000 PER YEAR*

As a recent Green Mountain College graduate and its current Admissions Counselor, I am proud to be a member of the GMC community. In the past four years, I have witnessed the college's transformation from a local New England college to a national leader in environmental education and sustainability. We are all very proud of our students and staff whose hard work and creativity were recently recognized by Sierra magazine, which awarded GMC the title of the greenest school in the United States. As a former advisee of the EducationUSA center in Serbia, I warmly invite all international students and EducationUSA advisors to explore the wonderfully diverse opportunities that Green Mountain College has to offer.

Financial Aid
During the 2008-2009 academic year, 90 percent of international students received financial assistance. The average institutional grant or scholarship for international students was $16,000.

Although Green Mountain College is committed to rewarding international students with excellent academic records, you should be aware that we still expect you to contribute significantly to your own education. Scholarships are available from other outside sources, and we are
willing to work with you to find other opportunities for financial assistance.
