Job description:
Applications are invited for 2 postdoctoral positions at the Department of Economics of the Catholic University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven).
Job profile and requirements:
Applicants are expected (i) to hold a Ph.D. in Economics; (ii) to have research interests that match the interests of the Department (iii) to have the capacity to publish in top-rated journals. The main focus of this position will be on research but the candidates can be asked to teach one course.
What we offer:
The successful candidate will work in a stimulating and challenging research environment provided by the Economics Department of the K.U. Leuven. The appointment will be for 2 years to start. Depending upon qualifications and age, the monthly gross salary will be up to 3,500 Euro. The starting date is subject to negotiation but could start from 1 October 2006 onwards.
