Pre-doc Biological sciences (Institut National de Recherche Agronomique, France)

Within the 6th Framework Programme for Research & Development of the European Union, the Marie Curie Host Fellowships for Early Stage Research Training (EST) are aimed at offering structured scientific and/or technological training as well as providing complementary skills for young researchers with less than 4 years of research experience. The researchers are appointed directly by the selected host for periods between 3 months and 3 years. The idea is to encourage participants to take up long-term research careers by helping them to enhance their job prospects. The organisations providing the structured training would typically be universities, research organisations, industrial firms, SME's, or international organisations.

The goal of the VERT consortium is to provide European scientists at the beginning of their activity with key concepts and methods necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to plant integrative biology in the post-genome era.
