Call for Trainers

Partners Poland Foundation and Visioni I ri invite interested trainers from Dukagjini region for participation in the new Training of Trainers Program

Partners Poland Foundation (a Polish non-governmental organization devoted to civil society development and conflict and change management) supports civic and economic development of women in Kosovo since the year 2000. Together with Visioni I ri — our Kosovar partner in Dukagjini region — Partners Founda-tion invites interested trainers and consultants to participate in the new Training of Trainers program.

The general objective of the initiative supported by the assistance program of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (PolAid) is to develop capacity of local organiza-tions active in women empowerment efforts. The short term goal of the project is to enhance capacity of trainers in Dukagjini region to deliver high quality trainings for unemployed people willing to start their own small businesses.

We are seeking for men and women who:
- Fluently communicate in English: invited trainers will take part in a series of interactive trainings conducted in English, so the ability to communicate fluently is a must.

- Are experienced trainers or consultants: have a proven experience in con-ducting interactive workshops and trainings in Kosovo. Subject area must in-clude all or either of: small business development, women empowerment, and marketing. We are especially interested in trainers or consultants who have experience in conducting trainings in business development for unemployed women.

- Are involved in local initiatives for economic development: cooperate with local organizations (NGOs, chambers of commerce etc.) in Dukagjini region.

- Have strong motivation to support development of other people.

We offer:
- Participation in the free of charge intense 10-day advanced training and workshop conducted by recognized Polish experts.

- Short term contract for realization of 2 trainings (2 days each, 4 days in to-tal) paid 100 euro per day on the topic of small business development for par-ticipants in Dukagjini region.

- Possibility of further cooperation with Partners Poland Foundation and the Visioni I ri in new training initiatives.

Our expectations:
- To take part in the whole Training of Trainers program:
o ToT — July 7-12 (training in Gjakova) and July 21-26 (residential training, probably in Macedonia).

- To conduct two 2-day trainings in Dukagjini region in September 2008. The program will be based on the agenda developed during the ToT.
