The Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (HCM) offers up to 15 postdoctoral positions in all fields of mathematics and mathematical economics. The duration of these positions may vary from half a year to up to two years. There are no teaching obligations but such opportunities are provided if desired by the candidates.
In particular your application should contain a CV (with the grade for the dissertation if available), a publication list, and a research plan relating to the research in HCM. Please use our online application form. Moreover, you have to choose one of the twelve HCM-Research Areas posted here as well as a potential local postdoctoral mentor from the list of professors in HCM posted here whom you are requested to contact regarding the proposed research plan prior to submitting your application. In addition we need by the deadline at least one letter of recommendation from a non-local scientist which is to be sent by e-mail to the Board of Directors of the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics, c/o Rosa Manthey (rosa@hcm.uni-bonn.de).
The deadlines for the next selection rounds are 15 June 2008 and 15 December 2008.
