CfA: International Summer School Sarajevo 2008: Rule of Law in Theory and Practice

WHAT: Association “PRAVNIK” together with the partner organization Konrad Adenauer Stiftung- Rule of Law Program South East Europe will be offering an International Summer School Sarajevo entitled “Rule of Law in Theory and Practice” from 10- 20 August 2008.

WHERE: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accommodation is offered in the Franciscan Students' Hostel in double bedded rooms. The Hostel is at 15 minute walking distance from the city center in safe and peaceful surroundings.

WHY: To empower future decision makers to work to establish the rule of law in transitional countries; To widen theoretical and practical skills of participants; To influence changes in transitional countries towards sustainable Rule of Law; To create Rule of Law Network of ISSS participants.

ELIGIBILITY: law and political science graduate and doctoral students (under age of 35), with a limited possibility for undergraduate final year students from Europe and US.

PARTICIPATION: 150 € for accommodation, meals and working materials.

Students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia are eligible to apply for a participation fee reduction of 50 %.
