We are looking for project partners!
To whom it my concern,
I am writing you in behalf of ŠENT – Slovenian Association for Mental Health, which is the largest Slovenian NGO working in the field of mental health. The main goal of our association is psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation. To find more information about ŠENT you can check our web page http://www.sent- si.org,
http://prireditve. sent-si.org/ ZgibankaANG. pdf.
At present we are interested in applying on the Albania CARDS 2005 call for proposals (http://ec.europa. eu/europeaid/ cgi/frame12. pl). The call emphasizes support to marginalized people with a special emphasize on integration of disadvantaged people into the labor market and in this context we would like to propose an action that would act on stimulation of employment of socially disadvantages groups. The main objective of the proposed action is to contribute to the social integration of vulnerable groups into the labor market, with special
emphasis on people with mental health problems. This would promote a better independent living for people with mental health problems and lower social exclusion.
In Slovenia ŠENT is the founder of the social firm Dobrovita (http://www.dobrovit a.com), which main activity is green program (i.e. cleaning and arranging of public surfaces and parks). On the basis of our experience with vocational rehabilitation and employment of disadvantaged people, we would like to offer support in developing
employment programs (with the possible development of a social firm).
To accomplish our goal we would need more information about the current situation in Albania, if there is a need for such programs and in which way we can offer our know-how in transfer of best practices. As far as we learnt there are several mental health centers dispersed across the country. If you can help us, it would be useful to know which regions have greater needs. We would also appreciate if you could mediate this email to relevant organizations working in the field.
Further details on activities, work plan, methodology, project strategy and other relevant aspects will be sent upon request to those of you who show to have an interest in the proposal.
Since the deadline is quickly approaching, we would be grateful to have your feedback as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help and collaboration.
Best regards,
Jasmina Jakomin
