Job Description

Plant biology group is part of a consortium of four internationally recognized research teams. Other members of the consortium are Lund University, Sweden – Dr. Almut Arneth; Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, Germany – Dr. Jorg-Peter Schnitzler, University of Colorado – Prof. Russ K. Monson. The major task of the consortium is to develop and validate a mechanistic isoprene emission model that can be used to
predict global change effects on plant isoprene emission fluxes. The task of the Tartu team in this consortium is to coordinate the isoprene emission model development.

Funding:

The project is funded by the Human Frontiers of Science Program (www.hfsp.org ). Salary is competitive.

Location:

Estonian University of Life Sciences (EULS, former Estonian Agricultural University) is located in the centre of Estonia, in Tartu, 180 km from the capital Tallinn.
