Swedish foundation Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) is hereby announcing
2nd RESTORATION CAMP GJIROKASTRA, ALBANIA, 10 - 26. September 2008
This year's camp is organised in cooperation with Gjirokastra Conservation and Development Organization, (GCDO) our guest partner for the year 2008/2009 will be Royal University of Fine Arts, Stockholm, Sweden.
The main aspect of the camp will be a documentation and inventory works to be undertaken on several buildings in historic environment of Gjirokastra, which would be a subject of later restoration project.
The practical works will be followed by lectures delivered by professors in architectural restoration from Sweden and Western Balkan.
We would like to use this opportunity to invite professionals in architecture, civil engineering, art history,architectur al restoration from Albania, Greece, FYR Macedonia, Serbia (inc.Kosovo), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro to take a part in this camp.
