Brief description:
We are seeking a Research Assistant for a British Academy Large Grant project entitled: 'NATO and EU Conditionality in Bosnia and Herzegovina: from Peace Building to State Building' under the supervision of Dr Gulnur Aybet and Dr Florian Bieber.

You will assist in data collection, preparation for field trips, maintenance of a project website and maintenance of a network of policy makers and scholars associated with the project.

You should have expertise in the Balkans, preferably Bosnia, and a good working knowledge of international organisations, preferably the EU and/or NATO, and linguistic skills in Bosnian (Croatian, Serbian). An advanced degree (M.A. or Ph.D.) in Politics (or a related discipline) is desirable. Anticipated start date is October 2007.
